Story: Sister Death starts when Narcisa moves into a new teaching monastery to start her early years as a nun. She starts to get the other nuns and meets the students, while dealing with her own gift. It doesn’t take long before strange things start happening around the monastery.

Narcisa tries to connect with the children, while the older nuns start punishing the children for seeing the unexplainable. This leads to Narcisa investigating the history of the monastery, which is much darker than ever imagined.

Verdict on Sister Death

Sister Death is a horror thriller following a young nun who starts work at a teaching monastery. She has a dark past with her own connection to evil and soon finds herself becoming the target of an evil presence.

This is a horror that takes us into a similar setting as the much more popular ‘The Nun’ series. While this goes in a very different direction, it still uses religious horrors to create an uncomfortable environment. It is more about the dread of what is happening before we learn a much more shocking truth. This movie uses the environment and concept to create an impending dread of what happened in the past. It sizzles along without giving too much away before revealing the much darker truth.

Where to Watch: Sister Death is available on Netflix now.

Final Thoughts Sister Death is a dread filled horror movie.
