Gokarella Police have commenced an investigation into a complaint of breaking into the house of a Police Constable attached to the State Intelligence Service’s (SIS) Mahawa office and stealing money and items worth over Rs.200,000.
Investigations revealed that the thief had entered the house in Melsiripura from a window of a room upstairs in the early morning on March 17. The thief had stolen Rs.15,000 cash in the officer’s wallet, two mobile phones, gold jewelry and the Police ID.
