With the passing of Aretha Franklin SiriusXM is paying tribute to the Queen of Soul.
Aretha was such a great singer that not only one channel was enough to pay tribute to the late singer. The Soul Town (Channel 49) on the on the satellite radio will be the Aretha Franklin Tribute Channel. The channel will feature music from her amazing career, live listener calls, along with past interviews and tributes from fellow artists.
Another channel that is paying their respects is the Rock and Roll of Fame Radio (Channel 310). Aretha was the very first women in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame so this seems perfectly fitting to pay respect to the late Queen of Soul. This channel will highlight her music and also air reflections from fellow artist each hour for the next week.
One of the newest SiriusXM channels VOLUME (Channel 106) will be discussing her life, music and the legacy she will have during the live broadcasts.
Of course even after the tributes are done you can hear Aretha Franklin’s music on numerous SiriusXM channels that include: Heart & Soul (Channel 48), 60s on 6 (Channel 6), 70s on 7 (Channel 7) and 80s on 8 (Channel 8).
