Siquijor & Dumaguete Itinerary and Expenses

Salagdoong Beach

The trip to Siquijor and Dumaguete was a good short break from the hustle and bustle of the city. I would definitely revisit these two provinces because I felt that 3 days 2 nights for these two provinces did not do them justice. Here is the breakdown of our expenses during our escapade:
P100 - Motorbike to Dumaguete Pier (P300 for two bikes and 3 persons with stops to Jollibee for lunch)
P136 - One way boat ride via Montenegro Lines to Larena Port in Siquijor (we rode a huge boat that could also carry cars)
P120 - One way boat ride from Siquijor to Dumaguete via Jaylann
P400 - We hired a tricycle to take us around Siquijor for the whole day (P1,200 total, spread among 3 people, he initially charged us an atrocious price of P1,800!). It's pricey and I know others could've gotten this for less than P1,000. I didn't mind paying because it was spread among 3 people and the driver was just trying to make a living.
P600 - Overnight stay in Lazi Beach Club (P1400 total shared with 3 people)
P688 - Food, water and pasalubong
P475 - Transportation for the entire stay in Siquijor and Dumaguete (I really should work on my negotiating skills)

P35 - Fees to Cambugahay Falls and Salagdoong Beach in Siquijor
P85 - Entrance fee and snorkeling gear in Dauin District 1 Marine Sanctuary
P350 - Overnight stay in Harold's Inn in Dumaguete
P2989 - Total Expenses for 3 days & 2 nights in Siquijor and Dumaguete excluding airfare
I still need to work on my budgeting skills.
How to get to Siquijor
It's easy to get to Siquijor, book a flight to Dumaguete, Cebu, or Bohol then ride a fast ferry. For our trip, we took the Dumaguete-Siquijor route. We booked a boat to Siquijor from Dumaguete via Montenegro Lines that cost us P136 one way.
Traveling around Siquijor
You can travel around in a motorbike if you have a license and know how to use one. The rates are P250/day and P50/hour.
