Sip, savor and sail as sparkling waves and soft breezes set the mood for SunQuest Cruises’s Champagne & Seafood Lunch Cruise on Friday, April 15th from 12 – 3 p.m. In partnership with Coastal Wine & Spirits, SunQuest Cruises presents the ultimate way to kick off the Sandestin Wine Festival just steps away on a 125 foot yacht. Patrons will embark on a culinary adventure of four different courses all paired with premium champagnes.
“The Sandestin Wine Festival is one of the most anticipated events of the year and our location just steps away makes it a perfect way to celebrate the start of the weekend,” stated James Murray, General Manager for SOLARIS. “Our chefs have created a signature menu that is art for the palette featuring fresh seafood and sparkling champagnes.”
This signature SOLARIS event begins with a dockside reception at noon. Guests can take in the panoramic views and fresh coastal breezes from the open-air sky deck while enjoying Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Champagne with Sauteed Gulf Coast Oysters and champagne butter, Lobster and Waffles and Seared Rosemary-Crusted Sea Scallops. As the SOLARIS yacht cruises the open waters, the “Make Way” Course will be served, including Fried Green Tomatoes with Roasted Corn and Crawfish Cream and a Chandon Delice Champagne / Ketel Citroen cocktail.
Following is the “Waypoint” Course, a Lemon Grass and Ginger Soup with Gulf Shrimp, paired with Ruinart Brut Rose Champagne. The final course is the “Marker” Course, featuring a Persillade-Crusted Mahi Mahi with Three-Potato Hash and a Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Champagne / Nolets Gin cocktail.
The SOLARIS Sandestin Wine Festival Champagne & Seafood Lunch Cruise is $90 per person including a four-course meal, premium champagne pairings and two-hour cruise.
