Sin La Habana is a romantic drama that follows a man trying to follow his dreams only to find himself caught in a love triangle. He wants to bring his girlfriend to Canada but to do so he must find a way to be seen as part of the society there, meaning he starts trying to date a Canadian.
This is a movie that gets to focus on the bigger situation of citizenship and the struggle to achieve it. Where it can leave couples apart and people pushed into bigger decisions. On the other side of this story, we see a chasing a dream story that shows the struggles in a world with few opportunities.
