I chose for my first cooking experience from my box, the Chicken Amatriciana.  It sounded right up my alley.   I didn't have any bucatini and have always had a difficult time finding it in the local shops here in Chester, and to my knowledge we don't have any specialized Italian shops.

I chose to use this, which I bought at Tesco . . . Fusilli Lunghi Col Buco, which is pretty much the same, except curly.   It worked beautifully.

Other than that, all I had to bring in from my larder was a tin of chopped tomatoes, some chicken breasts and some fresh basil, which was actually optional.  I didn't have any of that, but I did have a tube of Gourmet Garden Basil, which I used instead and worked fine.

True to their promise the finished dish was on my table in about 20 minutes with minimum fuss and mess.  Win/win!

And it was truly delicious.  I loved it!  I have not made any of the other three dishes included yet, but if they are anything like this first one, they promise to be quite fabulous indeed!
