Silver Lake and Ludington

This was my first camping trip since I was kid and I couldn't think of anywhere better to go than to go than Silver Lake. We set up camp and then went off to explore. The first lighthouse was just a few minutes from the campground on the beach. The others were found in the nearby city of Ludington.
Silver Lake is known for their awesome sand dunes off of Lake Michigan. You can take your jeep, ATV's, or dirt bike out on the dunes for a ride. But if you don't have a ride of your own, you can sign up for a dune ride. Even as an adult, it is still a lot of fun!
