I know, I know- I'm a bit late on the holographic trend. But there's no time like the present, right? When I spotted these shoes, I knew they'd fit nicely into my late summer transition into Fall, especially in Europe. While most sandals add a more lax vibe to outfits, this pair maintains the style factor while throwing in some comfort. Lately, I've been paying more attention to architectural details in different ways, as well as thoroughly enjoying mixed textures + metals, and I think this outfit wraps all that up into one look. The skirt has a waxed/glossy/rough texture that I obviously can't explain very well, but lets just say it's unique. Cool, even. I'm getting really creative with my adjectives as you can see. Oh, and I have to mention my new earrings- in love! I took a liking to the perplexing "ear jacket" trend (as Bauble Bar dubs them) quite a while ago, probably around the time I mass followed a bunch of jewelry designers. Normally, they are a bit more elaborate, with multiple jewels and tones along the bottom, but finding this simple faux diamond stud pair was a wonderful thing. I sure love me some jewelry. When answering an ask on Tumblr about my future travels, I realized that I still have a lot of traveling left this month! At the end of this week, I will be heading to St. Louis for a few days with my mom to help move my brother into college. And a week later, I am going to Dallas to do some early birthday celebrating with my sister and mom too. In addition, I am going to Six Flags this Tuesday with my brother (Kingda Ka, we're coming for ya!) and then the 1D concert on Wednesday w/Allison! I'm such a busy bee- but I quite like that. I hope you guys have a wonderful week! xo
