Story: Sight starts when world-renowned eye surgeon Dr Ming Wang (Chen) has his latest breakthrough. His partner Dr Misha Bartnovsky (Kinnear) wants to celebrate, but a new challenge presents itself. Ming is introduced to a young girl Kajal (SwamiNathan) a blind orphan from India.

Kajal’s case is different to anything he has experienced before, and he dives into his past for motivation. He must challenge what he knows to find a new solution to give Kajal her sight which was so cruelly taken from her.

Verdict on Sight

Sight is a drama following a world-renowned eye surgeon who takes on a challenging case. He has given people’s sight back, but now he must find a new way to return somebody’s vision. It dives into his humble beginnings in China before excelling in the medical field to make sure nobody else needlessly suffers.

This movie is inspiring, it dives into people’s dedication to help improve people’s lives. It uses the challenges to provide motivation to find solutions and being based on the real Dr Ming Wang, we see his personal life around the professional one. This feels like one that could help people and is one that everyone should watch. We get wonderful performances and a powerful story.
