The Police arrested a Sub-Inspector and a Sergeant for consuming seized foreign liquor kept at the Pannala Police as court productions. The Sub-Inspector and the Sergeant had been consuming alcohol when Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Athula inspected the quarters of the Pannala Police. It had been revealed that they had broken the seal of a foreign liquor bottle which was to be produced before Court.
They have also been suspended from work and the Police said they would be produced before the Court for stealing a Court production.
