Shruti Haasan finally seems to have got the lady luck going her way. After a tepid start to her career initially with a slew of flops the actress is now fast becoming one of the most happening stars around, not just in Telugu cinema but also in Tamil and Hindi as well.
If the latest reports doing the rounds in the Bolllywood circles are to be believed the actress apparently has been roped in as heroine for the Akshay Kumar starrer Gabbar, which is a remake of Tagore (Ramana is the Tamil original) starring Megastar Chiranjeevi. It will be directed by Krish of Gamyam and Vedam fame. Filming of the movie is expected to begin at the end of the year.
