My way time flies. CNET is a quarter of a century old and to celebrate this special occasion, we invite all CNET readers to submit photos of your old technology that you have used in the past 25 years - the older the better! So if you have an old-fashioned phone, MP3 player, game console, camera, PDA, laptop, or some other old gadget buried in your attic or in the dark corners of a closet, go dig them. Take a picture of them and submit them in the form below.
Celebrating 25 years of CNET
Once we get a decent amount of your photos, we will create a gallery for you all to appreciate and remember how much technology has advanced in the past 25 years. We look forward to receiving your photos. Thank you!
Here are some tips for submission:
- Photos: at least one photo of your old technology. Images must be in horizontal (landscape) format. Only JPG, JPEG and PNG files are allowed and each photo should not exceed 3MB in size, but the higher the resolution, the better. You can submit up to four images.
- Captions: For each photo you submit, please give us the names of the articles, write a few sentences about your old technology and let us know what makes it special.
