Game 6 : Anand loses
Shocking ... Anand loses again... Carlsen now leads 4-2
Today, game 6 was longer.

To somebody who is not an expert, it appeared that Anand had the upperhand with 3 pawns as against Carlen’s 2……… the black pawn was intimidating closer to getting a Queen… Anand made Ra8 – to me it appeared as if he could next present a check and capture the pawn or Queen….. Carlsen made Rg1 ………… and Anand resigned……….

Sad – now it is 2 point advantage for Carlsen and more importantly, he requires only 2 ½ points for winning the coveted championship………. With 6 games to go, 5 draws could achieve that.  If Carlsen wins, he would herald a new era in World Championship. If Anand wins, he would be rated along with Garry Kasparov as the most successful world champion in modern chess.
Hope that Vishy comes back strongly……..
