The shift dress is one of the most classic and flattering silhouettes. It is amazing that a shape so simple can do so much for the figure & be appropriate on a variety of occasions.
This chartreuse shift dress is a new addition to my closet & it is one of my current favorites. Not only do I love the bright & bold color (perfect for spring and summer), as I previously mentioned it is such a simple shape it is so easy to dress up or down. It can be paired with flats, heeled sandals and even pumps for those dressier nights. As much as I love prints, solids are great basics to have in your closet because you can change the entire look of the dress by adding a statement necklace or earring. Can you tell I am obsessed with the shift dress? Just remember that Jackie Kennedy loved the shift dress. Enough said.
