Verdict on She Came From the Woods
She Came From the Woods is a horror slasher-style movie. It follows a group of camp counsellors as they deal with an evil presence in the camp. One they have accidentally summoned but don’t want to stop until it has all its victims.
This feels like a true throwback horror movie. Everything we experience makes us feel like we are in the 1980s era. It has fun with certain death sequences, while others feel more intense. The strange feeling about this movie is how similar it feels in tone to the video game ‘The Quarry’. If you just want to see a real throwback movie, this is everything you would come to expect from an 80s slasher.
