We all loved the bezel-less Mi Mix and Xiaomi is pushing the boundaries further with the upcoming Mi Mix 2 however, the credit for the first such device goes to Sharp which came out with Sharp Aquos Crystal and Sharp Aquos Xx a couple of years back and last year they showcased the oddly named Sharp Corner R. However, now th Japanese company is taking it a step ahead and will launch the FS8010 and FS8016 this month.
As per the sources, the Sharp FS8010 and FS8016 would be two identical devices with only difference being the processor present in them. The Sharp FS8016 will come with a Snapdragon 660 SOC while the Sharp FS8010 will be powered by the Snapdragon 630 processor.
These bezel-less wonders from Sharp will carry a a 5.5-inch 2,048* 1,080 display, at an insane 91.3% screen to body ratio, dual 12 MP rear camera setup, a 8Mp camera for selfies will present on the front and 4 or 6GB RAM coupled with 64GB internal storage. They will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.
The Sharp FS8010 was able to score 69000 on Antutu benchmark, however the highlight here is the borderless display. The phones look identical to the Mi Mix, however with a narrower chin.
