Black Twitter Erupts Over Messy Planet Of The Apes Promo
OK, so Black Twitter is currently embroiled in touchscreen warfare over a monkey in a blue vest spotted in promo for the new Planet of the Apes flick. The issue? Well, many believe that particular monkey is a direct shot at famed activist Deray Mckesson who literally rocks a blue vest everywhere he goes.
Yea, it’s all very messy and befuddling with an endless flurry of solid points, terrible logic and outrage flooding the internet.

I don't know, but when the monkey said I love your blackness too. I walked out of the movie.

Imagine playing the victim so often that you see racism in an ape from the 60's because he has on a vest.

Let me be frank: the team for this movie is trash for their lack of racial sensitivity and awareness. pic.twitter.com/vf6odR689c

Anyone talking about the racial overtones in Planet of the Apes must have never seen any of the movies. It's blatant.
