Sex in Monochrome by @attaboyc

By Pamelascott

Guiding us through Hollywood's varying views and use of sex in its pictures, Adam Roche takes us back to 1921 when Hollywood's fascination with sex is seemingly unstoppable... And then explains how the world's most powerful industry dealt with censorship for the films of the 30s, 40s and beyond.

I enjoyed every episode of this podcast. What I find fascinating about the Hollywood presented in this and other podcasts by The Secret History of Hollywood is how full of opposites it is and has been at times. I listened to a podcast about Hollywood's obsession with seeking out Communists. In this podcast, Hollywood moves from being obsessed with sex in one decade to practically banning it in the next decade. Hollywood is pretty fucked up. You've gotta love a place full of such contrasts. Like other podcasts in the series, I found this entertaining.
