The AT-12 was a two-seat advanced trainer version of the Seversky P-35, the first single-seat fighter in U.S. Army Air Corps to feature all-metal construction, retractable landing gear and an enclosed cockpit. This particular AT-12 last served as the base commander’s aircraft at Lowery Air Base, Denver, CO. The Seversky Company later reformed under the name Republic Aviation.
