Seven Zero-Effort Mom Approved Outfits

My IG and IRL mom friends have been asking for some easy and chic mom outfit ideas. The actual request... What about outfits without flare jeans?!?! You know I'm all about the flares but many times it requires either a wedge or higher heel depending on how it's hemmed. Challenge ACCEPTED!

I am literally the queen of easy Mom outfits! I tend to wear the same things over and over but still people think I've made an effort when it requires minimal thinking! So here we go with zero-effort mom-approved outfits!

Chic mom approved outfits are easy with fashion equations! See below!

SKIRT + SWEATSHIRT + SNEAKERS

Can you guess where these pieces are from? It's from my other fave store that starts with a "T" and ends with "arget"! LOL! They make me the QUEEN of easy and chic mom outfits! This is literally a copy of an outfit from my friend and hair stylist, Connie. She is one of the most fashionable gals I know, and she was wearing the green sweatshirt and blue skirt when I saw her last month. FABULOUS!

I changed it up by wearing the coordinating blue top and skirt. Remember what I say about the magical matched set!! Anyhow, this is easy peasy lemon squeezie especially when you add sneakers. It's a cute and happy outfit that gives you the freedom to chase little ones AND look cute!

JOGGERS + BLAZER + SNEAKERS

My favorite alternative to jeans are joggers. They can be sporty, dressy, or casual! Just think of them as a replacement for jeans. If you want dressy, then add heels. If you want sporty or casual, then wear sneakers!

In this outfit, I feel like Sporty Spice with a fabulous snake print blazer by CABI! You know I love my CABI! Anyhow, it's comfy enough to walk around and do some major grocery shopping, meet your girlfriends, or even a casual business meeting. It's like a mom outfit mullet - business on top and party on the bottom! LOL!

Start off with a simple foundation of white tee and jeans. Add the booties and faux fur jacket for some winter warmth. Throw on a pom pom beanie if you're feeling a little extra or need more warmth! Voila! You've now dressed, warm,AND chic!

This is a dressed up version of a sweat pants and sweat shirt set! I swapped out the bottoms for joggers and the top with a "bedazzled" sweatshirt. You can wear a sparkly necklace over a tee/sweatshirt for the same effect. Add a fur and you're glam good to go! This is what I look like at school drop off, but this is really one of my easy and chic mom outfits uniform!

Joggers can completely change the look of an outfit depending on the material. These faux leather joggers give any outfit an edgy vibe. I wear them with a black top and studded black boots for an easy monochromatic look. Lately, I've been wearing this outfit with a brown fur jacket for a luxe look!

I wore this outfit to a surprise lunch at Mr. S's work, and the gals called me a "Charlie's Angel" because they said that I looked ready to kick some butt! LOL!

JEANS + SWEATSHIRT + BOOTS

I love being able to wear a sweatshirt and call it a day, or an outfit for that matter! LOL! The reason why this works is because the sweatshirt is velour which dresses it up. Again, you can try dressing up a regular sweatshirt with a sparkly necklace (as in above photo), a fabulous scarf, or any sweatshirt with some interesting detail!

Skinny jeans are also easy and throwing on a pair of knee high boots or booties add an elevated look.

Maxi/Midi dresses are great for so many reasons. 1) They look fabulous even though they're effortless. 2) They're comfy. 3) They're long enough that you don't have to worry about showing any unmentionable when chasing after little ones.

This is one of my favorite Summer maxi dresses, and I winterized it with a Moto jacket and booties. (I talk all about it in this post.) This was a day that I was off but working on blog stuff at home. When it warmed up later, I took off the jacket!
