Serve ATL is a one-day event occurring twice a year that brings together those who want to help serve the underprivileged in our community. On October 13th, you can help by volunteering in a variety of service projects. Some of the projects include landscaping at schools, volunteering at a battered women’s shelter, spreading the word about human trafficking or cooking a meal at a homeless shelter.
Register to serve at one of dozens of locations in and around Atlanta. Each person serving must complete a registration form. Volunteers participating will receive free breakfast and lunch, ServeATL t-shirt and childcare if needed. You can register for the type of project of your choice at serveATL.com! Registration closes on October 8th. After you register, your site leader will contact you and let you know what to wear, what to bring with you, as well as all other helpful information you may want.
ServeATL is an organization formed to help the community as a whole. Regardless of religion or spiritual beliefs, volunteers come together as a unit to make the community better. ServeATL wants to empower individuals to do for one what you can’t do for all. Clean, well-landscaped and nicely renovated parks, schools and public areas are their goal. ServeATL is proudly sponsored by Vinings Church and Home Depot.
