Serena Williams wins her first match since given birth to that adorable daughter of hers, Alexis Olympia.

Serena beat Zarina Diyas of Kazakhstan 7-5, 6-3 in the first round Thursday night at the BNP Paribas Open.
“It was incredible,” Williams said on the court after the 1 ½-hour match, according to USA Today. “It’s been over a year and a kid later and I get to go home to her now, and I’m excited about that.”

With her supportive husband and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian looking on, Williams played from behind until breaking Diyas in the 11th game of the first set.
