Serena Williams Is A Mom Now
Every tiny little baby with the tennis gene just got very nervous and started thinking of a new sport to get into, because the future tennis champion of the universe (we’ll be hitting balls on Mars by then, right?) has been born.
UsWeekly is reporting the news that Serena Williams and her Reddit co-founding fiancé Alexis Ohanian are now the parents of a baby girl. A source claims Serena gave birth sometime today at a hospital in Palm Beach, Florida, while People magazine is reporting that their new baby clocked in at 6 pounds, 13 ounces.
Neither Serena nor Alexis have said anything yet about the arrival of their baby girl on social media. It’s anyone’s guess as to how that will happen. Will Serena jokingly tweet: “Who do I talk to at the DMV about changing my license to say that I’m a real woman“? Will Alexis start a new subreddit dedicated to the baby’s first pictures called r/mybabyisverycute? I suspect it will probably happen on Instagram, and I really hope it involves the baby wearing a little tiny sweatband and holding an itty bitty tennis racquet with a caption about being a future doubles partner, because I’m corny like that.
The only other details we have about Baby Williams-Ohanian are that she’s already gotten a shout-out from Auntie Beyonce:
