- The Smart Home Is Going To Be A Huge Boon To Accessibility - Technology being used to improve accessibility makes me happy, plain and simple.
- Sex on wheels – “Margarita, With A Straw,” is a new film about a girl with cerebral palsy exploring her sexuality and based on what I’ve been hearing, it seems amazing. I’d love to see more of this in the media.

- This is What the Empty Room Means – This powerful piece sums up perfectly just how deep ableism runs in society, and it’s written by an advocate I respect who is a fellow American Association of People with Disabilities internship alum.
- Gabby Giffords and the Problem with ‘Inspiration Porn’ – Elizabeth Heideman is another fellow internship alum who has absolutely been nailing it with her pieces on disability lately. Inspiration porn has got to go.
- 5 Fundamentals Of Disability Awareness – Concise, to the point, and important to consider.
- Can we teach our kids to stop staring? – This post really gets me, because I know how it feels to have kids stare when they should really be taught to express polite, honest curiosity instead.
- Wheelchair Bound”: In Pictures! – Please, people, STOP using the term “wheelchair bound” already. It’s so inaccurate. This post is spot on in explaining why.
