Bullwinkle's Debut (1961)
- The Bullwinkle show moved to NBC starting September 24, 1961, broadcast in color, and first appeared on Sundays at 7pm (EST), just before Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color.

- The bluebird became the symbol of happiness after a writer called Maurice Maeterlinck wrote a play called 'The Blue Bird' in 1908.
The Muppets Creator Jim Henson's Birthday (1936 - 1990)
- James Maury "Jim" Henson (September 24, 1936 – May 16, 1990) was an American puppeteer. He was one of the most widely known puppeteers in history[1] and was the creator of The Muppets.
Punctuation Day
