December 2016

Among the outdoor exhibits of the Musée de l’air et de l’espace is this Jaguar in a shelter, striking an alert status pose.  First flown in 1968, this aircraft served with the French until 2007.  The type is still in service with the Indian Air Force.  SEPECAT (Société Européenne de Production de l’avion Ecole de Combat et d’Appui Tactique) was a joint venture between Breguet and the British Aircraft Corporation, one of the first major joint-Anglo-French military aircraft programs. Nikon D500 w/18-200mm, processed with Aperture.
