Which is all the more reason to support your friends and loved ones when they are under the weather.

The mind and body are very much connected. When you feel physically sick, it can make you feel sad, lonely, or even depressed. This is especially the case when you are isolated in your home and you don't have contact with your loved ones. If the weather is poor, the it can also add to your declining mood. In turn, your mood and mental state can affect your physical recovery. When you feel happier and more positive, you tend to recover faster. If you are not happy, your recovery is slower.
