Send Flowers According to the Recipient’s Star Sign

Send flowers according to the recipient's star sign

You are probably familiar with the different kinds of zodiac symbols or star signs. Just like the number of months in the year, there are twelve of them and each one is associated with different properties and personalty traits. What you might not know, however, is that every star sign also has a flower associated with it. What better than to send flowers to somebody for their birthday based on their star sign? Not only do fresh flowers make great birthday gifts but sending the right kind of flowers will make it that much more special and memorable.

Aries: March 21 - April 20

Aries is a fire sign and people born under this sign are known to be strong and confident. The type of flowers you should send are tulips. You should also choose warm colours in order to celebrate their passionate personality traits.

Taurus: April 21 - May 21

The symbol for Taurus is the bull and, just like the animal, are likely to be quite headstrong and stubborn. That said, they are also known to be caring, compassionate and warm-hearted people. Lilies are perfect for a Taurus since it brings out their softer side.

Gemini: May 22 - June 21

Geminis are known to be light-hearted and playful. The best flowers to send to a Gemini are roses. However, remember that different colours have different meanings and an arrangement consisting of mixed colours will really capture the many dimensions of this star sign.

Cancer: June 22 - July 22

Cancers are said to be the most emotional of all star signs. They exhibit patient, loving and kind behaviour so be sure to send them a bouquet that includes or consists of delphiniums.

Leo: July 23 - August 22

The creative, sociable and spontaneous nature of Leos are best celebrated by bright, bold sunflowers. Just like any Leo can grab the attention of everyone in the room, so too can sunflowers.

Virgo: August 23 - September 23

Send Asters to any Virgo you know since they echo the theme of practicality that Virgos are known for.

Libra: September 24 - October 23

A Libra is often symbolised by a set of scales. They are known as the personification of balance and hydrangeas are the flower of choice for any Libra. This is because they have both hard stems and extremely soft flowers - both extremes brought together to create floral perfection.

Scorpio: October 24 - November 22

Believed to be the most passionate and powerful of all star signs, the flower associated with Scorpios is none other than the peony.

Sagittarius: November 23 - December 21

With so many different varieties, colours and meanings, carnations make the ideal gift for any Sagittarius. Again, a bouquet consisting of mixed colours is best.

Capricorn: December 22 - January 20

Capricorns are known to be dependant and responsible. This is what makes them the exception and, instead of sending fresh cut flowers, you should send a potted plant instead. African violets are easy to care for, beautiful whether in bloom or not and they symbolise the Capricorn's faithfulness.

Aquarius: January 21 - February 20

People born under the sign of Auquarius are known to be intuitive and spiritual. What better flower to send than the graceful orchid?

Pisces: February 21 - March 20

When looking for the best flowers for a Pisces, you should look no further than alstroemeria. Due to their more modest nature, they will not overwhelm the recipient.
