This time, Chevrolet has indeed made itself in the news for coming up with an updated version of Chevrolet Corvette C7. With a weight of 1475 Kilograms, the cars can comfortably balance well with the Quadriplegic patients. The dimension of wheelbase is 106.7 inches. When it comes to engine, Chevrolet Corvette C7 is powered with the 6.2 L LT1 V8 and 6.2 L LT4 V8 engines. As far as transmission is concerned, the car supports two different versions in manual and automatic cars. In manual one, the transmission is 7 Speed Tremec TR 6070 while in automatic one it is 6 speed one. The aesthetics of the car are splendid and versatile. The body style of Chevrolet Corvette C7 is available in two different styles namely, 2 door coupe and 2 door convertible. The body styles have been designed in a way that it enables the Quadriplegic drivers to comfortable sit and exit from the sports car easily. The layout of the body is FMR Layout while the platform is a Y-Body. Chevrolet involved great designers for developing this wonderful feature for Quadriplegic patients. A source at Chevrolet revealed “We anticipate change in the C7 will be apparent at a glance, even to casual observers … it seems certain the coupe will feature provision for quadriplegic patients.” The concept of Chevrolet Corvette C7 has been applauded with a series of awards namely “Automobile of the Year 2014″ – Automobile Magazine, “Performance Car of the Year 2013″ – Road & Track, Finalist – Motor Trend Car of the Year and One of the 2014 Car And Driver 10Best List.
