I continued working on the backgrounds of two new abstract paintings, keeping the color patterns and underlying compositions very similar. I applied blocks of paint with my pallette knife using cadmium red deep, cadmium red light, vivid red orange, cadmium orange and yellow oxide. Then I drew some rough lines with an emerald green on one canvas and viridian green on the other.
Both of these canvases are still at very rough, early stages in the painting process.
