Cabinet Spokesman and Mass Media Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardhana yesterday said the country will most probably receive the second IMF loan installment within a week and that China, India, Japan and France have officially agreed to the debt restructuring process.
The Mass Media Minister said this while speaking at the Cabinet decision notification press conference held yesterday at the Government Information Department.
The Cabinet Spokesman also emphasized that Finance State Minister Shehan Semasinghe stated that if the next meeting of the International Monetary Fund is held on December 12, the country will receive the second loan installment on December 12.
