Second Annual “Shrimp & Pasta Party & Interactive Recipe Contest

Calling all Shrimp lovers - it's time again to celebrate all things Shrimp. The Shrimp Council’s “Shrimp & Pasta Party!” Facebook promotion has officially kicked off. Fans who "Like" the Eat Shrimp Facebook Page have the opportunity to share their inventive shrimp-and-pasta cyber-recipes and walk away with cool prizes. This year, in partnership with OLD BAY® Seasoning and McCormick & Company, the 2013 edition of the six-week promotion which debuted (Feb. 13th) on the Eat Shrimp Facebook page will run through Easter Sunday, March 31st.

The promotion this year invites fans to whip up their favorite shrimp-and-pasta recipes for a chance to win one of five $100 gift cards to the grocery store of their choice, plus some cool OLD BAY swag, including the famous blend of 18 spices that makes shrimp shine!
The interactive recipe contest features pre-selected ingredients from six categories: pasta, protein, sauce, veggies, cheese, and, of course, herbs and seasonings. Each selected ingredient will automatically populate on a plate, ultimately displaying a final “dish” that you submit for judging.
The contest runs through March 31 and the five winners will be announced April 5, 2013.
