To say I am hard on this body of mine is an understatement. My work as a stylist often has me schlepping heavy totes of props to and from my third-floor apartment, standing for loooong days, hunching to tweeze and primp food, and in general, I tend to tense up and internalize stress. I'm sure I'm not alone in these feelings, regardless of your profession, and I'm sure I'm not alone in needing a little more time and space for self care.

I make a point to visit my chiropractor (Oh hey Dr. Alex!), and lately, I've been prioritizing deep tissues massages from my new favorite place, but I've been working to create a homemade apothecary collection for you and me both. That's where this DIY Sea Salt Soak comes into play. It's visually a beautiful addition to a bathroom shelf, but most importantly, it will really do wonders for your feet.

Chamomile & Rose

Just as drinking a mug of chamomile tea in the evening can help you wind down and relax, soaking your feet in a chamomile infusion can push you one step closer to a state of zen. Rose adds a delicate scent to the soak, so consider giving this Sea Salt Soak as a gift to a friend or significant other who deserves flowers in some form.

Once you've enjoyed this starter formula, you can start to experiment by increasing the quantity, adding essential oils or other dried flowers like lavender. You can also add it to a bath if you're lucky enough to have a lounge-worthy tub.
