Verdict on Screamboat

Recap

The movie follows passengers on a ferry out of New York City. However, their normal journey turns into a nightmare when they begin getting stalked by a killer mouse. They must work together to survive the relentless assault from the crazed killer.

Best Parts

When it comes to slashers, it has become about who can create ethe most unique kills. This does bring some gruesome kills filled brutality behind them. It feels like this could reach a cult fan base, as the production is the next level up from the Winnie-The-Pooh horror movies too.

Worst Parts

We have seen an increased horror vision of the childhood stories in recent years. This doesn’t have the same wacky nature to it, being more of a typical slasher with the Steamboat killer. Where the killer is a mouse, some of the scaling can seem off too, where one scene it feels like a larger-than-life killer, before turning into a natural size of the creature.

Final ThoughtsScreamboat is an entertaining late-night-horror destine to become a cult favorite.
