Wel I don’t know how things are by you, but here we are inching closer and closer to a true Spring. So that means it is time to start thinking about how to properly prepare your yard for Spring. That is where Scotts Florida Select Natural Eucalyptus Mulch comes in.

Scotts Florida Select Mulch is made from Eucalyptus trees grown in Florida for Florida and is perfect for sustainable gardening. This is the best option for you because:

  • Eucalyptus trees grow faster than the traditional Cypress trees. So the loss of the trees used to make this muclh is regrown a lot quicke
  • The mulch is grown on plantations and is free of construction, demolition, pallet, or other waste material.
  • This muclh prevents weeds naturally and helps the soil to retain moisture longer.
  • Because its grown in Florida you are helping your local economy.

To use Scotts Florida Select Mulch you will need few gardening supplies. First you need to make sure that where you are placing the muclh is prepared. So you will need to remove any old mulch, a shovel and wheel barell would work nicely. Use a weed wacker to cut down any weeds that are there, and a small hand shovel to remove the weeds at their roots. Once the area is prepared you can open the bags of mulch and using gloves spread the mulch around. Using a rake to finish off even out the mulch would be a good idea too.

Now if you don’t live in Floida you can use Scotts Nature Scapes mulch. This mulch comes in a variety of colors, Black, Red and Brown. This mulch will help you to retain moisture, prevent weeds, and create a beautiful landscape all year long.
