I know the referendum was last week, but I somehow find political cupcakes irresistible, so I had to share this when I came across it today. Apparently Cuckoo's Bakery in Scotland has been selling cupcakes with the flags and question marks and tallying sales to predict the possible outcome. As of September 18th, sales went like this: 43.5 percent of sales were Yes cakes, 47.7 percent No, and 8.8 percent undecided. Apparently, cupcakes can be pretty accurate pollsters.
