netflix has announced its next Orijon web series. The name of this series is ‘Scoop’, in which Karishma Tanna will be seen in the main lead. Let me tell you, the scoop is a real life based story, which is based on journalist Jigna Vora. Let us tell you, this series is being made by famous director Hansal Mehta, who has previously made successful series like ‘Scam 1992’. Scam 1992 was a series based on the biggest scam in the stock market in the year 1992, similarly Hansal Mehta is going to rock the OTT once again with another real life event.
Netflix has shared the teaser video of the series ‘Scoop’ today on its official Twitter handle. Along with this teaser video, the streaming date of the series has also been confirmed. The series will stream on Netflix on June 2, 2023.

It is shown in the teaser video that the story of this show revolves around a journalist, who gets jailed due to some reasons. These reasons will be shown in the series. As we said, Karishma Tanna is playing the main lead role in this series.
The Scoop series is based on the book (Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison) written by Mumbai’s famous crime reporter Jigna Vora. If reports are to be believed, in the year 2011, a well-known journalist Jyotirmoy Dey was murdered in broad daylight. In the investigation, the police found that journalist Jigna Bora was involved in this murder, he had instigated gangster Chhota Rajan for this murder. He had to go to jail on this charge.
