Scion Audio Visual in partnership with Skybound Entertainment (“The Walking Dead,” “Outcast”) release a free digital single today featuring Nuclear Blast Records’ artists Kadavar and Lost Society. Kadavar recorded a song exclusively for this single, “Words of Evil,” which is available now as a free download via Nerdist (http://nerdist.com/kadavar-channels-sabbath-in-skybound-single-words-of-evil-premiere/) with Lost Society’s “Braindead” available now via Scion Audio Visual’s Soundcloud (https://soundcloud.com/scionav/lost-society-braindead).
German retro-rock band Kadavar contributes “Words of Evil” to the a-side of the single. The bombastic trio released their third album, Berlin, over the summer, with Metal Injection saying, “it’s rare to find an album that’s nearly flawless from beginning to end.” Kadavar previously worked with Scion AV, giving fans a free download of “Into The Night” via the Riley Hawk: Northwest Blow Out EP (https://soundcloud.com/scionav/sets/riley-hawk-northwest-blow-out-ep-scion-av).
Scion’s partnership with Skybound Entertainment previously birthed an “Outcast” themed Scion iA, a “possessed” project car that moves and operates on its own via pneumatic movements of multiple body panels and an automated sequence of lights and audio effects. The two companies also partnered on the premiere of Skybound’s first feature film, AIR, at San Diego Comic Con and the release of a number of behind-the-scenes videos with “The Walking Dead”/Skyboard founder Robert Kirkman as well as the highly-regarded animators from the comic book powerhouse.
