The Science Museum of Minnesota has closed its doors due to safety concerns over the spread of COVID-19. And while you might think that means that the Omnitheater is totally out of reach, think again. The Science Museum has made several of its most popular Omnitheater films available for streaming on demand from home.
Bringing the Omnitheater to a Screen Near You
For more than 20 years, the Science Museum has held Omnifest annually. The festival is a smorgasbord of big-screen entertainment. Every year, five different large-format films are shown over the course of five weeks.
This year, the widespread outbreak of the coronavirus has disrupted the regular proceedings, but you can still experience all five of this year’s films from your own home theater. Let’s take a look at the options.
