In Victorian times there was a tradition during Christmas season to sit around the fire and tell ghost stories. Charles Dickens help made this tradition by witting to other authors and asking them to write ghost story and publish them in magazines.
What better way to bring this tradition back for the modern times then on the internet. Calling all writers, book bloggers, and booktubers
1. Make an announcement post and link it to the linky below.
2. Pick a short ghost story or a whole anthology and talk about it. It don’t has to be a full review with ratings. Just tell what you like/dislike about the story. What elements make it scary/not scary etc…
It has to be in the short story format. Novellas are fine nothing larger then that.
3. Write a ghost story in short story form (<2000 words). It can be any type of ghost story from gothic to modern horror and anything in between.
