School Board is Taking Applications

By Ceemac126 @PGCBlogging

Are you qualified to be one of the next appointed members of Prince George’s County School Board/Board of Education?  Well you have until May 10th to get your application in.  County Executive Baker will choose the Chief Executive Officer of the Board of Education after the search committee, comprised of 2 Prince George’s County residents appointed by the Governor and 1 person from the State Board of Education (chosen by the State Board Superintendent), forwards him the names of the worthy applicants.  In the meantime, let the School Board appointments begin.  Boy is this going to get messy before it gets better.  By the way, the Chief Executive Officer = Superintendent, post June 1, 2013.  Legislation (HB-1107) has to kick before the title is officially changed.
