Taken during my last visit to Edwards for their wonderful Open House event. The variety of experimental aircraft on display sets this airshow far apart from all the others. Made famous as the mother ship for the successful SpaceShipOne program, White Knight and SpaceShipOne shared the same forward fuselage outer mold line to reduce development costs and to allow for White Knight to act as a flying simulator for training SpaceShipOne pilots.
