The newest exhibit at the Hiller Aviation Museum had to share center stage with a Hofbräuhaus banner during their annual Oktoberfest event. Launching from Mojave, CA, SpaceShipOne completed the first manned private spaceflight in 2004. That same year, it won the $10 million Ansari X Prize and was immediately retired from active service with the original vehicle going into the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum.
