After signing an executive order banning TikTok, US President Donald Trump joined TikTok rival "Triller". His first video has been shown on the booming video platform which has already garnered 4.7 million views at the time of writing.
in the 15 second video Trump can be heard saying he's a "tech professional" and "no one can do it like me." No one."
There are two more videos on the account that were posted on Saturday afternoon. One is a clip of the president giving a short speech where he says "Joe Biden has no idea," and another video mocking the potential Democratic presidential candidate.
Triller is one of the many TikTok alternatives that has gained traction after the TikTok ban was discussed. Trump's account on Triller is verified and has around 9,600 followers and four videos.
According to several reports, this account was created on Saturday. On Friday, Trump ordered ByteDance, the Chinese parent company of TikTok, to sell or transfer its assets in the United States within 90 days, citing national security concerns.
ByteDance is already in talks with Microsoft to acquire all of TikTok's global business, which would include India, the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Even Twitter went through an initial round of discussions with TikTok to merge its activities with the Chinese app.
Recently, a heated debate arose among Trump's advisers over the TikTok ban, after which we heard another rumor that TikTok could sue the White House.
