Thoughts on Save Yourselves!

Save Yourselves! Is a sci-fi comedy that will see a hipster couple looking to find themselves again. After becoming too reliant on the technology in their lives only for their time unplugged being when an alien invasion happens. This is a story that wants to put out a warning about become relent to technology. Where being away from the world could keep you safe from an invasion waiting to happen. with the cutest little furball aliens you will ever see.

The lead pair Sunita Mani and John Reynolds do a good job showing a couple looking to find their identities in the world. Both before and after the incidents start. We could have dived into a lot more themes about what was happening here. Instead the film does feel like a series of planned sketches, rather than a natural movement of a couple.

Final Thoughts Save Yourselves! Is a by the book comedy sc-i-fi that just doesn’t get as many strong points over, relying on sketches over story.
