Save the Date!

By Heather @home_modern
Hi everyone! It’s official–my friend Shelby and I are having a Home Decor Sale this weekend! I’ve cleaned out lots of stuff for the sale and don’t want to bring it back to the basement–ever. Because our front yard/driveway situation is not set up well for sale-ing, we’re going to have the sale at Shelby’s house in Olympia. She is an amazing hostess and garage sale guru, so I hope you come check out our wares. Several of you from Tacoma have asked for details about the sale and I hope you will come down to Olympia and check things out. If you want to make a morning/day of it, I’ve included a list of my favorite decor (new, vintage and re-purposed) haunts right in downtown Olympia for you to visit (click here for a map of downtown). {Brown Derby Antiques} 101 Capitol Way South.  Lots of pretties to be had here! {Courtyard Antiques – Antique Mall} 705 4th Avenue East. This is a “mall” with lots of small booths and variety. {Drees} 524 Washington Street Southeast. Beautiful decor, gifts and stationary. {Finders Keepers – Antique Mall}  501 4th Avenue East. Another “mall” with lots of variety. {The Mod Fix} 505 Capitol Way South. This place has only been open for a few months, but if your heart melts over 60s mod it’s a must visit. {The Red Door} 430 Washington Street Southeast. Fabulous vintage and “upcycled” wares. {Meconi’s Italian Subs} 1018 Capitol Way South. Hands down my favorite sandwich shop–stop here for lunch! {Batdorf & Bronson} 516 Capitol Way South. Fuel up on some great coffee before you hit the road back home! **Please e-mail me at [email protected] for the sale location address and a copy of the sale ad!**  If you come to sale please say “hi” and let me know who you are–I love to meet readers and know that there are actual real people out there who read the blog! XO, Heather P.S. No, the Dorothy Draper chest in the photo above will not be at the sale. I don’t own it, but if I did I certainly wouldn’t be selling it
