Islamabad-Saudi Arabia shows interest in investing Diamir Bhasha and Mohmand Dam projects. Saudi adviser on energy Ahmad Hamed Al-Ghamdi led a delegation who met with PM’s adviser on commerce Abdul Razzaq Daud and discuss the matters to increase bilateral trad between the two countries.
Moreover, the delegation also met Minister of Energy Omer Ayub Khan and signed four MOUs for the investment in Oil and Energy sector in Pakistan which will extend the CPEC project to Africa through Oman and Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia also wants to setup an oil refinery in Gwadar and a LNG power plant in Punjab. According to a private TV channel the delegation shows his interest in investing the Diamir Bhasha and Mohmand Dam project.
