PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY AUTHORS BOOK SIGNING at the Greenbelt Public Library , 1-4pm, Meeting Room, lower level, 11 Crescent Rd. Greenbelt, 301-249-0763. The event features books about and authors from Prince George’s County, Maryland. Authors will briefly talk about their books and will be available for further discussion and signing afterwards. I would love to see this play but I’m covering another event: DANG IT!!! FAT PIG, presented by the Prince George’s Community College Hallam Theatre, 301 Largo Rd., Upper Marlboro, MD 20774, 301-322-0920. Authored by Neil LaBute, the play follows a young handsome man who has to explain his new relationship with a plus-sized woman to his shallow friends. This play explores society’s traditional view of beauty.
