Satin Flower Ring

Satin Flower Ring
I love satin flowers. There is something so elegant about them. I have a bunch of nine year old girls who come to my house twice a month and they are always looking for cute crafts to do. I decided to make some satin flower rings for the girls to make and wear. They are very simple to make and they are super cute as rings, bracelets, or even pony holders.
Here is what you will need to make this craft:
- satin fabric in your choice of color
- matching tulle
- thin elastic
- pearls or jewels to embellish

First cut out circles in varying sizes of your satin and your tulle.  I did three layers. One large circle, one medium circle and one small circle

Burn the edges of your satin circles. (just hold your thumb in the middle of your circle and hold a lighter next to it to melt the edges and make them curl in) Alternate your satin and tulle starting with your satin and ending with your tulle. Add a little pearl or jewel on top. Measure some elastic around your finger or wrist to get the size you want. Glue one end of your elastic to the bottom of your flower, circle the other end around and glue it to the other end of the elastic. You are done! Super cute huh?
